Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir lindi më 25 maj 1984 në Reykjavík, Islanda. Ka qenë Miss Iceland. Më 10 dhjetor 2005 ajo u zgjedh Miss World 2005.

Vilhjálmsdóttir u lindur si vajza e Ish-Miss World Unnur Steinsson, që 1983 finalen e arriti në zgjedhjen e Miss World. Ajo u rritur në Seltjarnarnes. Së fundi ajo studioi në Universiteti Reykjavík Antropolgi, në vjeshtën të ardhshme ajo ka bërë plan një studim juristike me filluar.
